Join in on the fun at the 46th Annual Sculpture and Sandcastle Day 2019 at Jetties Beach on July 27, hosted by the Nantucket Island School of Design and the Arts. Whether you're a professional or just want to attend for fun, the Sculpture and Sandcastle Day on Nantucket is a competition of design, creativity, and concept. Not interested in participating? Watch the art unfold from the sidelines.
All ages are welcome to participate in the fun, and you can even register as a team. Rules allow hand tools like buckets and forms to be used for the build, as well as any indigenous shells, ornaments, or decorations. Please keep in mind that anything not beach friendly must be removed after awards are given.
Professional artists and judges are local educators, staff, lecturers, and faculty from the Nantucket Island School of Design and the Arts. They judge each masterpiece based on concept, creativity, and design. There is also a people's choice award.

Time: Participant check-in is at 1:30 p.m. and any unclaimed spots will go to the waitlist at 2 p.m.
