While we can’t go out to eat at Nantucket restaurants right now, it doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the island's delicious cuisine from the comfort of your rental home. Many restaurants on Nantucket are offering take out and delivery services, so you can still support local businesses. With so many Nantucket take out options to choose from, we thought it'd be helpful to compile a list of a few of our favorites.

Must-Try Nantucket Take Out

Bartlett’s Farm

At Bartlett's Farm, you can order your fresh produce, groceries, and delicious prepared foods online and pick them up with curbside service. Bartlett's is Nantucket's oldest and largest family-owned farm offering some of the best produce and fresh food that you can find on the island. You can even order bakery cakes and catering. Check the Bartlett's Farm website for more information about their curbside pickup options.

45 Surfside Bakery and Cafe

Tired of having a bowl of cereal for breakfast? Order an egg sandwich, breakfast burrito, or fruit smoothie from 45 Surfside Bakery and Cafe. This Nantucket cafe offers a selection of lunch items as well, including sandwiches and salad options, and plenty of sweet treats to appease all dessert lovers. Check the 45 Surfside Bakery Facebook page for daily specials and offers.

The Bean

The Bean offers more than just coffee. With delicious salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads, The Bean is a perfect lunch option. Located in the heart of downtown historic Nantucket, The Bean is the island's premier coffee roaster. Whether you just need a caffeine pick me up or a bite to eat, The Bean is a great option. This cafe is open for breakfast and lunch 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. daily, except they are closed on Tuesdays.

Cisco Brewers

Cisco Brewers Nantucket is open for curbside pickup so you can enjoy local, handcrafted beer and more. Bring the fun of the brewery to your house by picking up some bottled beer, wine, and spirits. While it may not be quite the same as a drink with friends at the brewery, having that same cocktail or beer at home is the second-best thing.

Downyflake

Pick up some donuts for a treat for the whole family from Downyflake. This quintessential, family-owned diner has been a staple on the island for more than 80 years offering housemade donuts and breakfast. Located mid-island, Downyflake is offering curbside takeout daily or delivery through ACKeats. Their entire breakfast and lunch menu is available to go.

Island Kitchen

Island Kitchen is always one of our favorites, and we are so happy to be able to enjoy their delicious breakfast or lunch at home. Island Kitchen offers upscale American cuisine, and a rotating menu daily. Currently, you can order curbside pickup Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. online. Check the Nantucket Island Kitchen website for the current offerings and specials.

Nantucket Culinary Center

Get a prepared dinner without leaving your house! The Nantucket Culinary Center is delivering family meals for four on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. You can find the menus from Nantucket Culinary Center on their website to see what is offered that night. You'll find items like chicken parmesan, pork ribs, veggie lasagna, meatloaf, and more. Each meal comes with sides and a dessert as well!

Nantucket Meat & Fish

For the nights that you want to cook at home or grill in the backyard, stop by Nantucket Meat & Fish to pick up everything you need for dinner. This family-owned and operated business offers freshly caught fish and seafood, prime meat, prepared foods, sushi, and more. You can also get delicious prepared breakfast and lunch, pizza making kits, and more. You can stop in to make your order or call ahead for pickup or delivery.

Pi Pizzeria

Nothing beats pizza on a chilly spring night, especially from Pi Pizzeria! While we miss their cozy dining room, we are thrilled to be able to enjoy their pizza and other delicious meals at home. The wood-fired, thin-crust pizza is some of the best on the island. Take out from Pi Pizzeria is available from 5 - 9 p.m. on Wednesdays through Mondays (closed Tuesdays), and they begin taking orders at 3:30 p.m. In addition to pizzas, you can pick up cookies, chocolates, dried pasta, wine, Peroni beer, and more.
