In the first ever The Copley Group Nantucket blog post, we would like to tell you a little bit more about one of these differences listed on the website, Select Locations.
The Copley Group Nantucket owns and manages our rental homes; we do not manage for any third-party owners. Location is a very important factor when we are considering adding a new home to the collection. The Copley Group Nantucket homes are located in Surfside, Town, Brant Point, or Monomoy. We stick to these locations for several reasons. The most important is that each has convenient access to beaches and to town. What more could you want out of a Nantucket neighborhood?
Our three surfside homes are all located right across the street from the beach. No need to load up the car, just grab your chairs, which come in each house, and go! Want to go into to town for shopping or dinner? It is just about a 10-minute ride. If you are looking for a fun workout, it is about a 3 mile walk or bike ride into town. Surfside is perfect for those who want to spend their days on the beach but also want easy access to town.
Brant Point is walking distance from town and is known as Nantucket’s most prestigious neighborhood. The Copley Group Nantucket Brant Point and in Town homes are great for summer rentals, but they are also perfect for long weekends in the spring and fall. With highly accessible beaches such as Jetties and Steps beach, and Main street at your fingertips, there isn’t a more convenient location on the island.
Monomoy is a short 7-minute car ride into town and is conveniently located to a few beaches, including Monomoy Beach and Polpis Beach. These beaches have calm surf and are great for families. Monomoy is also a great location for those who like to bike! Ride your bike into town, or for a more challenging ride, head out to ‘Sconset.
